With another year over, it’s time once again for the Social Media Awards—when we examine the bigger picture and analyze social media data throughout 2019. These are the most successful Brands in Germany over the span of 12 months.
To determine the most successful brands as well as the year’s top posts, we consider all categories including articles, pictures and videos. Total interactions are measured across the platforms of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.
Let’s take a look.
2019’s most successful Brands in Germany:
Mercedes-Benz resumes the role of German Brands leader in 2019, pulling in 40.7 million total interactions on social media. Netflix takes 2nd place with nearly 28 million total interactions, followed by Audi who achieved 15.3 million total interactions in 3rd place.
Mercedes-Benz has over 1 million fans on Facebook, 6.2 million followers on Instagram and 13.1 thousand Twitter followers. Instagram is by far their most powerful social media platform, with more than 39.8 million IG interactions gained in 2019.
Netflix has a total of more than 62.9 million Facebook fans, 1.3 million followers on Instagram and 831.6 thousand Twitter followers. Instagram is clearly their main social platform, earning over 22.2 million IG interactions compared to their next-best platform: Facebook – 3.4 million.
A total of nearly 1.9 million Facebook fans and 570 thousand YouTube subscribers follow Audi, but Instagram is still their most efficient social media platform: with 792 thousand followers, the German car brand pulled in more than 13.5 million IG interactions.
